Fresh Future Taupo 500 Challenge

Film of the lead car, escorting Harleys (and a Yamaha) and the group of 12 cyclists starting off on a lap of Lake Taupo.

The ride was for Progressive Enterprises Children's Hospital appeal, Fresh Future. The challenge was for riders to complete either 1, 2, or 3 laps (160,320 or 500km respectively). Progressive has raised over $3 million over the last 3 years for this cause. Further info can be found at www.countdown.co.nz

I completed one lap as this was a recce for the Taupo Cycle Challenge in November.

@hommernzl The vid is of the cyclists. The ride was non competitive and all in the name of charity. I don't have a final figure on the fundraising however it should come to light in a week or so.
