Hi
Is it necessary to drain out the air after every use or once a month or once a week is good enough. I have a Craftsman 33 gallon air compressor but I not sure if it will rust if i drain it like 4 times a month and not after every use. I use it only 2 times a month.
thanks

id get a 120 psi compressor lol put a genorator on a go cart wich makes no sense but hey its cool

Yeah, you do, you've got to weld on it and then grind the welds down to act as more lobes to keep the compression cycle from happening.

Did you have to change anything with the cam?

whats the point of that?

@Dualshock21 Don't really have a point to it, I just had the engine laying around, needed work to run, and I was bored and wanted to see if I could do it. Aside from the fittings and the missing parts, all I'd have to do is stick a stock cam back in it, then fix it to get it to run on gas again. So its not like I wasted the engine.

Is it possible to just "jump" timing of the cam and rotate the engine and put the cam shaft back in without modifying it?

@Terryblount Honestly, I don't think so... I have a spare cam and I'll try it and let you know, about the best chances I could see might be putting the cam back in at 180 degrees out of time. I think that could be the best possible chance for it... I'll let you know.
