This is what is happening when using video sl on SSL 2.1 or 2.1.1 only on my pgm2 channel.
When I start playing a video/ song track, everything will play correctly for around 5 secs (on this video starts from 0.29) then the video will freezeframe itself and make another layer of the video over top of the freezeframe.
The freezeframe will remain even when I select another video/ song track to play then the original freezeframe will disappear. Again a few seconds into the new track, it will freezeframe that video and again layer the video in top of it (cycle starts again)
