Thats a pile of steaming bullshit. Christianity never came to our shore by the sword. Show me one peice of credible evidence to back up your spurious claim.

THE PICTS WERE BRYTHONIC CELTS

Also im annoyed that i have to have a debate with a person over my phone. Since i have no computer and judging by your comments to both me and others your study is limited and pride filled. You have little respect for the ancestors and are war driven. @ celticbattleaxe wake up to reality please read a book on the Continental Celts and Insular you might learn something

stop over glamorizing my ancestors its foolish and annoying. I have touched the art weapons and tools of these very real people both Pict and Insular Celtic. Your fairy tale version is rude and a dillusion.

@ celticbattleaxe. 20 years as an antropologist and writing two books for Trinity college on the Celts and the coming of Gaels in Ireland is where i get my info. Also my Family name is Pictidh my DNA is Pictish dating to 4th century CE. Thr Picts are native to Scotland and closer in relation to the Bell beaker tribes. They did not speak a P goidelic language we dont know the language of the Picts prior to Colomba. The peoples of all tbe British isles have bern there since after the last .

@MrGriguta ...territory in northern Britain, but we don't know. We can only speculate.

@MrGriguta Had the Romans the money to continue Agricola's campaign, things MAY have turned out differently. If, shall we say, the Romans took Scotland, they would have to fight off the invading Irish tribes, and later the Saxons.
With what resources the they had, the Romans would not have conquered early Scotland - that's why they built the two walls. Because if they didn't, the Picts would be free to raid, probably start an uprising like Calgacus', and the Romans may have lost ...
Nothing is more menacing than a Pict charging at a poor damn Roman, naked in battle and wielding a battleaxe. The Celts were purely unstoppable. No wonder why the Romans had to make Hadrian's wall and the Antoine Wall. They were too damn cowardly to hold them back!!!!
Hail Alba, and Caillech!!!

Columba brought Christianity like all the Christians at the time, by the sword and by killing. The cult was born of blood and here we are, still sick
