There was a guy known as little KeV that used to video the raves at the academy and warehouse. If my memory serves me, there was a particularly good batch of snowballs doing the rounds that night and it really kicked off! When the lights went on at the end of the rave alot of people has actually collapsed on the floor!

@crazyjonhere yeah couldn't agree more dude! So nice to see so many comments from the 'old skool' hardcore massive..........sorry been dying to say that. I wish I could buy that building or hire and do some reunion party's. Its strange in the way that all the original Plymouth/south coast ravers and lets face it we were defo ravers back then ..lol are more than likely into their fortys now and when you talk to younger kids about those days, they look at you funny...like your talking shit man!

@mrjenkins1967 absolute heart breaker that that building is still empty to this day really do miss that place, the academy and dance academy came nowhere near it only place that nearly did was the monastery in torquay

@cm1179 ,the show was called BPM and was shown on Central TV back in the early 90's,they also visited the Longton Leisurebowl a few times for a few mad nights at Club Kinetic.

'fuck the TCE' heh heh. Aren't you forgetting the PYF or Greenbank Massive
there just is nothing to compare this to now. I worked in this club back then and I ..shit..it blew me away, especially some of the nights that Essence did, fucking full on. I still have my crusty old live tapes, I'm 42 now and still love dance music, rip warehouse love ya forever.
