Who cares if Bach was writing difficult music to play? We all can see and hear that this Chaconne is highly difficult. The only important thing, however, is that it is music of the highest level. Simply divine. And as an interpreter, you better be up to the job. Perlman is, so what are you talking about in fact? Perhaps he is a bit rough, indeed, that's the only very little criticism I could have.
