If WDADU were re-made with LaBrie's vocals in as good of a shape as they were back in the early 90's, I think it would have rivaled I&W for best DT album.

Incredible performance of all of them; For me this was the best period of DT (musically). They would never be the same without Kevin and Mike (The old & early Mike Portnoy).

@demonight2 Oh, I thought you meant LaBrie couldn't pull the Black Clouds stuff off live or something. Nvm then.
-
@calastiur There are no difficult songs on Black Clouds (Vocally speaking). Its like putting bruce dickinson to sing The Cure... Or putting Petrucci to play The Calling
-
@demonight2 I know what you said is 1 year old, but are there any live clips out there of LaBrie doing bad on the Black Clouds stuff live? Really curious what you're talking about.

la época buena de Labrie, pero ya no vale para nada.

his voice WAS AMAZING (WAS) why?? because he scream all the time, screaming , screaming over and over againg... he completely damage his voice ... and now he would never do it again
-
DAMN!! His voice was amazing back then!! Even on a bad day, lol.

@demonight2 well..guess I am not too sure about it man or never know..I am not a singer btw..Coverdale vocals is damn strong man...very warm and sexy..his highs sounds strong to me man..stronger than Labrie..I thought

@dk8moore Its kinda "Easy" when you know how to do it... The feeling, the texture, the kind of ressonance...
Its like visually speaking... How can you differ a Solid Mater from a Liquid ? Most of the times you need only a glance to differ both...
When you practice a lot in vocal technique you start to modulate your voice to adapt in the cases you want... and that require a lot of hearing...
Chest voice is always full and fat, is strong...
Head voice is always Sharp, it pierces into your ear..

@fauzo86 Mix voice has no power or strong vocal chords pressure... a big exemple of mix voice user is Coverdale (Whitesnake)
