This popular variation on the High Five was immortalised in the film Top Gun.
Buddy-pilots Maverick and Goose are seen to high five, then after making contact continue the motion of the arms downwards, with the palms meeting again in a "six o'clock" position. This variant of the High Five is best used when playing beach volleyball or when you "feel the need - the need for speed!".
We've demonstrated this kind of High Five in a Top Gun pastiche, but we didn't have an aircraft carrier handy so had to make do with the living room. The video features sound, so put your speakers on for the full experience!

You can't call it the "Top Gun" because that's the maneuver they did when they cut the engines and pulled up.
