Russell Hantz Should Have Won "Survivor: Samoa"

Waddie G. gives his review on the season finale of "Survivor: Samoa." Russell Hantz should have won over Natalie White. It took a whole bunch of weak-minded simpletons to no realize how Russell was the greatest player to be a contestant on "Survivor."

I forgot to mention on here that I was a great fan of Shambo too. She was such a sweet person on the show who was so misunderstood.

Russell is WAY overrated. The Hidden Immunity Idols were POORLY hidden. Russell would've been fcked if they had operated with the exile island. Also, not a very good social game. Coattailing works. Sandra won with it. TWICE (she didn't really coattail hardcore either season, but...). But I gotta hand it to Russell, he did do the most strategy in Samoa, but not all of it was successful further down the road.

...also he got too much airtime. We didn't get to know anyone else, that's the problem.

there was a crucial moment in the game. the first vote after the merge where natalie was the one who turned the game. russell couldn't do it. she did it. if not for that they were dead.

if Russell were truly as manipulative as he says he is, he could have manipulated the jury into voting for him. if he would truly do "anything to win" like he said he would, he would have pretended to grovel in front of the jury in order to win them over.

The jury often doesn't vote for the best player. The jury vote is often nothing, but a popularity contest. In the past 2 seasons the best players Russell and Parvati have gotten screwed.
