I met Steve in the mid-70's. We were both street musicians in SF. He'd find a foyer with organic echo and draw a huge crowd eager to chuck money into his guitar case. On his piano in his apartment he'd have all his earnings stacked-up denominationally in a row. At nights he'd play at the Drinking Gourd with a girl named Dee Dee.He used to do a couple of my tunes and I a couple of his.I was so proud of this and of him.He was a winner right out of the gate. Songcraft + max energy = Steve Seskin.
