New Fan Clutch Installed - 2003 Ford Ranger Edge 3.0L

At 91K my factory fan clutch was noisy. It cost me a lot of power and fuel. Now that I've replaced it the engine is more responsive and runs much quieter. The bad fan clutch also contributed to a lot of the belt squeal I had going on no long ago, but all other parts that may contribute to the squeal were also replaced. @mayorga22 I have a 04 ford explorer which has similar problem. Noise appears from time to time. When it happens, I feel a huge decrease in acc power. I don't know about fuel performance. Have you replaced your fan clutch? Did it fix your problem?

frick i have that problem too. i jus got a new belt. and its still there. should i get a new fan clutch?

was the noise on your truck constantly or only from time to time.

like I said on the other post, in my tuck is from time to time that I get this noise fan not all the time, like after long trips, then my truck becomes loud with like an airplane.

could this fan clutch be responsible for the lack of acc power, and poor fuel performance?
