The Dirty Guv'nahs- New Salvation Guitar Cover

I decided to do this cover after I saw the Dirty Guv'nahs for the second time last night at the Cox Capitol Theatre in Macon, GA. They rocked the place and I was singing along to this song (most of their show really), and I can't wait to see them again soon. These guys should be known across the world! The solo at the beginning was all improv. I never solo, so forgive me for the simplicity and the weak sound. I will probably be working with some of The Dirty Guv'nahs' songs to help me with soloing and such. I used the capo on the second fret because that's what the guitarist did, as I saw. I would like some good feedback on this cover. I learned it all by ear, and this is what I came up with. These guys are really awesome, and I would die if they saw this.

Anyways, I havent really revealed it, but I have used a practice amp for all my covers that I have done. My birthday is in a few months, and I will probably go out and see if I can get something good and cheap, like maybe a 65 watt amp or something. Once I get that amp, I will probably get to harder covers from Nirvana and Paramore, and maybe some Linkin Park. I also am looking into asking for a Vintage Sunburst Epiphone Les Paul Special II (Lefty of course) for Christmas. I want to get it so that I can have a guitar to tune into half-step, D tuning, etc. I need to get a deeper sound too. My Peavy practice amp just doesn't do my Kramer justice. So, new styles are a possibility soon. Also, I may put on a Guitar Hero video sometime, for old time's sake.

this is my fav dirty guv's song, i completly agree ppl need to find out about this band, they are just simply perfect. and keep workin on this song im sure you will be great! oh nice shirt btw;) i have the same one! haha.
