@mailtoharshit Big brother, you do have a point,but you see there's no other lecture series as exhaustive on Youtube as this NPTEL series.I must tell you that I know European students who use NPTEL lectures even though accent etc is an issue...What you say may be true for other NPTEL lectures, but this Srinath,IITB's Arvind Ranade are accessible & worth the time..& plz dont say "every other guy in IT"...Not many are IITB grads & MS from UA,TX...Most students are average!!Cheers.

@chewy6i - what you mean by implementing Database, every other guy in IT developer do it on regular basis, what's magic in this. If you think out the box of academic life, in the professional life you did every other day. We at facebook restructure the meaning of database in this world.

I finished my MS from University of Austin, Texas. I personally should say, lecturers in IIT are way behind in communication skills then professor here, I finished bachelors in CS from IITB while attending there I learned IIT prof seriously lack communication and presentation like wise any other desi do. In addition, work culture, research culture and desi professor presentation skill needs serious homework.

@all brainless who comment on Dr.srinath language.
Dr.srinath is MS from IIT Madras. He did PHD from BSRT germany.
His published papers from 2002 which probably means he completed his PHD in 2002.
from his examples of student entity roll number(2003CSExyz) and 256 MB pen drive cost of 3000 implies he taught this course in 2003. Before 2002 period almost all the programs in germany were in german lang. most probably he must have taught this course just after returning from germany.

u r just another jackass. just look at yourself before commenting abt IIT proff. u r not even allowed to attend lecture u bloody asshole. Get the right to comment on his teaching skills , get into IIT enroll the DataBase course taught by DR. srinath then give your valuable opinion about teaching.
