Meg Tilly is so like her sister Jennifer, it's amazing. I think she makes a beautiufl Carmilla, much more so than Ingrid Pitt in the English version of Carmilla, (Hammer Horror's Vampire Lovers). The setting is interesting n pleasing, but I don't think it's as spooky as the schloss/castle in Austria where Carmilla was set in the novel. Forests - full of old fairy tales - r just more spooky n so is an ivy-covered ancient castle - I just think - both seem more natural for spooky beings of legen
