@AKDryFly the point of those fish to reporduce so big is that when many fish are caught many are replaced why do you think there is so many videos on youtube about catching giant halibut is because when they spawn they created thousands of eggs so im pretty sure taking a few fish wont hurt the population

I hate anchoring and waiting to bring them to you! I like to drift and have a bait or 2 down and a jig. It works great with these tides!

I have eaten lots of Halibut from fish that size did not find it stringy at all in fact it was delicious! Sounds like you have apersonal issue with this charter.
