Ha although I did get a good laugh out of this, Caligula is not a film that can ever be remade. It is almost a cinematic historical document at this point. Every actor in it became their character for that film and some of them even destroyed their careers for it. To remake it almost feels like sacrilege and an insult to something sacred... but then, Caligula would approve if you put it that way.

In Ancient Rome sexuality was not the same as it is today. People today think in terms of heterosexual, homosexual, & bisexual. In Ancient Rome sex was about a dominant person & a submissive person. It didn't matter what was between your legs...it all hinged on your personality.
