  • Jesus Christ, why are nadal fans ALWAYS saying Nadal isn't at 100% and he loses solely because of it? If he can't maintain 100%, that just shows you his level of consistency in tennis. Very low compared to Federer's period of excellence throughout his career.

  • The same argument can be made when he beats Roger: fatigue or injury. Tennis is a physical sport and fatigue and injury come as part and parcel of it. That's why Roger is the greatest- not only because of his achievements but because of his ridiculous level of consistency- 22 straight slam semis and 24 consecutive finals won. I'd like to see ANY motherfucker topping that.

  • Roland Garros 2009 (hypothetical match) : Federer def. Nadal 6-2 6-4 6-3

  • @m1k3y0011 of course! he's 30 !!!

  • nice but now Roger cant beat Nadal no more

  • @jlennon28

Consecutively? Really? I can't see Djokovic winning another 18 consecutive finals (by that, I mean finals he enters one after another). I mean, Nadal has 14 and Borg and McEnroe have 12. Djokovic is on 7 at the moment.

  • @Ryan81M Sadly and funnily enough, I could see Djoker topping the finals won record. Hope not, but I could.

  • the difference is kljMN2 that was after one loss with Nadal its pretty much every time he loses.

  • Really funny how so many people complain about Nadal using fatigue or injury after each loss, especially when you consider Federer's (classless) post-match press conference after having his butt kicked against Berdych. Hypocrisy, anyone?

  • @Scoclamor we'll see.

  • @Bdubbs09 And how about today?
