IMHO Best song = SHOCK ME...a legendary guitar riff! Worst song = AND THEN SHE KISSED ME. It's hard to pick a best album from Destroyer, R&RO, and Love Gun...they are all great albums...even though Destroyer holds a special place for me...I have to give the best album to Love Gun. Love Gun was recorded when KISS was at the highest point they have EVER achieved (arguably I suppose). I remember BEGGING my mom to buy this album for me and she wouldn't! Believe me, my begging was legendary!!!

This is probably the easiest album to rank each song from best to worst 1. Shock Me 2. Love Gun 3. I Stole Your Love 4. Tommorow and Tonight 5. Plaster Caster 6. Almost Human 7. Then She Kissed Me 8. Cristine Sixteen 9. Hooligan 10. Got Love For Sale I would also say that there are better KISS albums than Love Gun, I really only like 4 off this album the rest are ok

My very first KISS album (well, actually, 8 track!). I was 5, was with my mom at Target and she let me pick something out for myself. I saw the cover and my eyes lit up, 4 monsters!!! Got home, put this on the stereo and in a matter of months my room was wall to wall KISS. On weekends I had my face painted up like Gene and run around the neighborhood scaring the other kids and their pets!! Got into music heavily, picked up a guitar and the rest is KISSTORY, as they say...

this is where they really started to go down, i love this album though, more poppy, shock me is aces first vocal, great song, christeen sixteen is a classic, love gun is a great song, with a good solo, i stole your love is ok to, never really liked it that much, i really dug the album cover though, great pic, gene looks like a demon, otherwise, its not nearly as good as the previous albums

I disagree...the only weak song on the album has to be Then She Kissed Me, all the other songs are sick...

Ace's "Got Love For Sale" solo is my fave he ever did.

KISS at their peak in terms of popularity. Ace is finds his confidence and Paul writes some of the hardest (and lamest) riffs in KISStory to this point. I agree with docwadd's opening statement. I could have done without "Then she kissed me". Great album overall. Second fav on this album is "I Stole your love"

They almost get "funky" on Almost Human. I like that.

MY FAVE KISS ALBUM OF ALL TIME! I don't know why, but this one is my favorite! Favorite song from this album: Plaster Caster. 2nd Fave Song: either Shock Me or Christine Sixteen...Honestly, this is one album I can listen to from number one all the way to the end without skipping any songs, and that's part of what makes a great album in my opinion.

KISS got a little more 'pop' with this one. But they still rocked and rocked hard here. 'I Stole Your Love', 'Shock Me', 'Love Gun', 'Got Love For Sale'. One of the great first six studio albums.
