Municipal workers from Barnegat Township, NJ, joined Lexington Boulevard residents in cleaning up the streets and yards of their nearly 200 home community.
and somehow it's gotten a bad reputation too, it's annoying... it's just a street... it's the people who do bad stuff and the whole street get's blamed, we're so judgmental...
It's a shame what that neighborhood has turned into. I moved to Settlers Landing in 1973 and remained there until 2006. I lived in the townhouses briefly in 1980 and back then they were very nice. I think the township should interfere and start issuing fines and soforth to people that don't maintain their properties. Obviously some people could give a rats-ass about what their neighborhood looks like but it's disgusting to let people destroy the neighborhood that most people take pride in.
