  • Actually, you get more stress on the mound because you can carry more energy. If you can't deliver the energy, then, well it has to go somewhere... it can also be an optical illusion due to your arm slot or simply that you aren't used to pitch on the mound enough to take advantage of the hill power.

  • ive always found that i can throw the ball harder on flat ground.

  • for me its still easier to throw on a mound rather than flat ground

  • its because you're moving horizontally and vertically as opposed to only horizontally on flat ground
