  • This guy was one of the first performers in our history of Jass Music to use the "Shuffle"

    style of music. Vince Gill still uses it to this day. The popular concept uses the Snare

    or Pancake drum to double slam on the rim of

    the Snare. Much the same way a "Triplet" or Double Thumping on the Bass Chord. "Bones" and Richard Solis did these pretty well. I never knew what Sunny Ace look like up close until now. Thanks for the post
