Breaking in the new tires for my scaler. This video represents various areas where my crawler in the past couldn't make it up due to lack of traction or clearance. The new tires and compound sure made it look easy. You can't tell but the last few minutes of the vid, the climb is actualy y steep and plenty of sand deposit making it pretty slippery.

  • That looks like some professional shit you got there man! :D I only got an Losi Mini Crawler. But it drives fine for me. ^^ In the future I'm getting some new mods on it. Like a servo cause the losi servo's are real shit..

  • I'm debating either the losi mini or the micro for my next scale project myselft. how you like the mini?

  • what turn motor

  • using a 45turn integy motor with 14t pinion and 87t spur.

  • Nice looking scalar.

Looks like you need some better steering on this one, but it looks awesome.

I thought the 1/18 mini crawler was smaller. I like the flex very much. I did some mods on it so it had maximum flex with the normal springs. Only 2 things bother me, the servo makes a squizing sound (now and then) and it is sometimes really underpowered. And if i drive it more than half an hour, perfomance will go down (battery). With a better servo it is even more manouvrable. Worth it's money. I also added led in the wheels (custom). Even better in crawling now. Worth the euros. ;D

  • Pull that Slipper clutch off or just tighten the heck out of it.
