How the fuck did you retrieve the video and memory from the camera?
IF there is anything to be amazing here, it's the durability of that freaking camera.
The fact that you were able to retrieve the camera while still marginally functional to transfer memory, and not only that, but recover it in one piece, rather than discover it shredded on the ground. That... is some tough freaking plastic.

I managed to retrieve the footage due to the camera box we use for skydiving. It's a carbon fiber box that's apparentlyvery though and it hit soft soil in a field. I didn't think it would survive either, but it did. My camera box is a "Cookie Composites Black Box". I had also attatched a 0.55 wide angle lens. The box and lens survived amazingly! Seriously, I was extremely happy when we found it. :D The footage is saved since it's stored on a SD card.
