An unusual warehouse with a tower and a furnace room on the backside of it. This is beside Blackwater Creek in old Lynchburg, Virginia.

  • This is not a secret. It's on Blackwater Creek trail. It's not cool. It's stupid and sad that it sits there unused and lifeless. You are lame.

  • @mrlones12 Thanks for your concern. I actually have the full use of my legs.

  • You should check out the Quaker Church in lynchburg va. It is located on fort avenue and part of the battle of lynchburg was fought there. General Hunter who was a west va union general, wanted to conquer lynchburg because of the supplies and hospital it offered for confederate troops. On Hunter's way to lynchburg he burned down Virginia Military Institute and a former governors home. not to sure of his name.

  • I haven't been to lynchburg since 1989, is it in a suberb, it looks pretty cool. We have an abandoned sanitarium by our house called "Eloise", there are tunnels underneath it. Black water creek trail looks pretty good. if I do decided to go where is this Black water creek trail at?

  • I didn't know the amish were allowed cameras.

  • I would like to drop a 2000lb jdam on it...

  • Looks like an amazing place, i would love to see some photos of the inside.

  • @rocktruggy03 Where, under the old grain silos?

  • @stratumcorneum I hope it's not a crackhead hotspot! Most of Lynchburg knows about this building because it is on a very popular trail that people bike on and run. I used to run by this building 3 X a week. It is also right behind a piping company in plain sight. I am offended that you would suggest that Lynchburg is full of crack heads and prostitutes.

  • @mrlones12 Of course its not a secret to you since it is spot frequented by crackheads and prostitutes, but for most people this building would have never been seen or its historic significance known had it not been for this post.

  • do you know if it's illegal to go inside the building?

  • there is a hidden tunnel further down the trail....
