Severe turbulence during final approach to Geneva

On the 23rd Of July, I flew to Geneva in Switzerland to a family party, on decent we encountered some very heavy turbulence. The plane was a Jet2.com 737. You can hear people screaming. The plane shook and drop every second. I personally love turbulence, and this was awesome!

Impressive, but nothing really dramatic.

I can see you were flying beneath & beside the anvil of a cell, and commonly there are down & updrafts in that area. But i`m quite sure, the crew did a good job avoiding the worst.

@Uygur102 im sure planes can be designed to fly higher where turbulence is minor and almost not exsistent e.g. 60000ft + yes this may seem very difficult due to the fact that there isn't a very big window between stalling and overspeeding because its so high but I'm sure techonology will do its thing and it will be the end of heavy turbulence, only problem is probably during decent upon landing where they would be unavoidable.
