  • dont forget to use the safety catch if present, watch out for overflow pushing the boat on entry/exit.... could have done with a bit more on it.

  • The locks are narrow, and some have protrusions that may hang on the bullwark of your boat. As your barge rises or lowers, these hang ups can roll a barge.

    Happens more often when sailing solo and you dont notice.
