Bethany Lewallen Courage Award

The Bonham Junior High National Junior Honor Society has honored Bethany with an annual award to be presented to a student who has shown outstanding courage in the face of adversity and major obstacles.
Bethany was diagnosed with MELAS a little over two years ago. Since then, she has lost the ability to walk, talk, swallow and function normally.
