Despite everything I think Stefano really did love Benji and i believe he didn't want Andre to kill him. He said Benji had a beautiful soul. I don't see why he would say such a thing to EJ if he didn't mean it at all.

Joe Mascolo is a wonderful actor I just wish they hadn't turned Stefano into such a cartoonish villain. I loved it when he would come in and cause trouble then vanish again before he could be caught that made him very mysterious and even scary but now he's boring. JMO!

Poor Steffie. :( It's just a shame that it's so rushed. Why does Benji suddenly decide to ditch him, and why does Stefano suddenly agree to let him go? It's all come out of the blue.
Joe's great here, though.
