Well, it's another Grand Central Oyster Bar and Restaurant Super-Smash: The restaurant held its annual 'Oyster Frenzy' event over the weekend. The Oyster Frenzy is fairly self-descriptive, and, if you imagine the connotations of 'all-you-can-eat-oysters', you'll pretty much get an idea what happened at the venerable New York City seafood icon on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon. If you can't imagine it, you can always watch the video.

It really is a great seafood restaurant.I recall stopping at the counter there a few years ago while waiting for the Metro North train.I was a vry refreshing stop after pouding the streets of the city. However I had a bad experience with a thieving cashier. He was a middle age Latino guy who short changed me and denied it with a guilty face.I didn't have enough time to challenge him since I had to cach a train. He must have spotted me as a an out-of-towner in a hurry.

The Oyster Bar is the SINGLE most convenient incredible restaurant in New York. Arrive at Grand Central, walk into the cozy elegance of the Oyster Bar and Restaurant, and you've arrived. And they always have a seat at the counters on the right or a table in the restaurant to the left waiting for you.
The beer is cold and the clam chowder is creamy and hot!
