Matthew may be very smart and sees a lot of stupid and weak plot points and so on but really who looks into a film this much i mean you would have to really study all this crap frame by frame not everyone is that interested if the plot was that realistic or not and it "Count Dooku" who is the villain in this film Palpatines apprentice and anakin only killed a bunch of sand people who happen to be evil and brutal twisted animals why is that so bad lol really.

@Jade1157 i cant be the only 1 who thinks the jedi should not be investigating anything cuz they should not be an organisation like that. they should just be people that train in the ways of the force and then let them do whatever. mayby have a jedi temple on a planet kinda like the jedi knight games where there is lots of force or something.

@angelbattler Thanks :)

@Crusnik2000 And as you said, take inspiration from true and significant historical battles. If you don't have any good ideas.. The battle of endor was simple and riveting. It was awesome. What now? Just cgi? Ok great cgi. But where's the heart? Where are the emotions? Why were we treated like idiots? Why so many stupid characters?? Why so many contradictions?? I gratefully tried to enjoy it all, but it could have been a lot better.

@Crusnik2000 A war without alien punks and freaks.. And Anakin should have been a padawan right away and truly fight his way through without bitching around.. Being what Ben stated he was: friend, pilot, warrior. And give him a better reason for turning evil. And make the Jedi less annoying and useless.. And avoid plot contrivances.. And get Lucas out of the director's chair. Dude, just put the money. We'll thank you for it.

@Crusnik2000 I like your ideas. In fact, I don't understand why they even called this prequel trilogy 'Star Wars'... There is NO war at all. Until the end of episode II and that war was a huge setup to create enough caos to allow Palpatine to get rid of the Jedi (who truly collapsed under their own presumption and blindness) and crown himself emperor. It should have been war from episode I. But a serious war.

they sort of had no choice but to take the clones, they were fully trained, and ready to go, and
they needed a army to rescue Obi Wan and Anakin, and defeat the separatists, imagine if the jedi order faced all of those thousands of droids, plus the spider walkers, and those wheel things. They would be powned dude.

@Crusnik2000 I agree!
I just thought of a better idea for what the main story could have been. It should have started as episode 1 where the Jedi are investigating a conspiracy, Obi-Wan comes across a young teenage anakin during the investigation, he helps out, they become friends and he can feel Anakin is strong in the force. At the end of the first movie the Jedi could have tried to kill the clones but they revolted. The clone war! That would have made more scene! instead of all this separatist crap!
