@cacasplat3 If you took a full breath when you did the measurement than you will be able to fit the Bionic Race no problem. - Anthony

just did the measurement, and on a full breath its about 37.25", so i guess the 48 will work fine.
one final question, will an alpinestars back protector be able to fit in the suit if i buy a 48? i'm assuming it should since its designed to accept one.
thanks for your help so far, much appreciated!

@cacasplat3 Hey Man, I think your best bet is to take a chest measurement. Your height and weight fall right in line with both sizes. If you are closer to a 37-38 inch chest, pick up the 48. If you are a 39-40 inch chest go with the 50. Use a soft tape measure or a piece of string and get a friend to help, it takes 2 mins and will make sure you get the right suit the first time. - Anthony

good review.
just a question on sizing:
i'm 5' 9.5" around 160-165 lbs, semi athletic build........will a size 48 be a better choice compared to a 50 for me?
