@GTCooper223 He didn't say they're the same, but he said there's a hope for RECOVERY.

He is such a douche bag...how do you compare leukemia to being addicted to a substance (drugs and alcohol)??? A child with leukemia did not do it to herself, unlike an addict...
-
Kudos to MCmag and Nikki for spreading the message of recovery...

Sadly, some people are looking at this the wrong way. "Hey man, he lived through it! I could make it too!" wrong thought, it should be, "Hey, this incredible talent, who has lived through the worst is telling me i shouldn't do this? I think he is right!"

See....addiction is BAD not the people. As you can see by Nikki being a perfect example of that saying. Do we look down upon cancer victims? NO....that is a decease too! Spread awareness; addiction is a decease and it needs to be addressed.

@TheArsonistPrincess Im glad to hear that you have overcome your past, I have too! My life as a teenager wasnt easy either....my parents divorced too and alot of other shit happened too-like my mom almost got killed by an envious lover of my dads. Life can really suck..but Nikki made me think in another way..Instead of keep thinking- why- eventhough youll never get all the true answers..I started to work on putting it all behind me ..learning to forgive and move on. Its hard but Im getting there

@Elijinah I agree 100% I have a shitty child/teenage hood too struggling with parental issues and my mom leaving me and my dad, and divorcing and a whole nother story, while trying to fighting depression and anxiety, in a depressed mind nikki's strung out mind sounds familiar and makes perfect sense at least for me...he is truely my hero i am not an addict of any sort but I'm glad Nikki, his music and his book has opened my eyes

Nikki has so many good quotes.
We are so lucky to still have this man on this planet! Hes a real inspiration to us all no matter what issue you have to deal with in life.
He proofs that you can overcome anything.

I have a lot of respect for Nikki now that he's sober and preaching the message of sobriety. I only hope that Vince Neil starts listening because he still has a very bad alcohol addiction and continues to live in denial.
