Its a bad recording, if you really listen you can hear him. By the 3rd verse he really starts belting it out and he sounds pretty fuckin' good. I can't stand linkin park's music but this guy has got the chops and does JA some justice. "Jaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaane says."

Leave Linkin Park alone. Chester is amazing, of course, but so are all the members of Linkin Park. They all work hard, and they are geniuses, in my opinion. Quit saying that Linkin Park ruins him. He has recorded music that showcases his beautiful voice.

@hatfisc Their latest album is actually pretty good, and nowhere near the nu-metal drivel that was their first 2 albums. The music is actually good in this instance.

@minusxero I wouldn't doubt it. Chester has talent but was ruined by the stains of Linkin Park. Of all the covers I've heard Chester attempt, not one was recreated to showcase Chesters talent. Notice they are all simple "covers." If Chester has talent beyond his vocal prowess, he will need to actually create something to prove that he's not another boyonce. IE: voice talent only. Musicians have to actually make music. I'll have to check out his version of Moutain Song.

@hatfisc Dave Navarro has actually gone to say Chester's version of Mountain Song with Camp Freddy (with Dave on guitar, no less) is the best version of the song that isn't by Perry.
