The Berlin Computerspiele (computer games) Museum originally opened in 1997 - but the new permanent exhibition tracking the evolution of computer games just opened in January and gives the museum a brand-new feel, really emphasizing all the old-school games.

A special thing about this video is that the museum was actually suggested to me by several viewers. Then my friend Judith, who is the one featured in the video, recommended it and then Zoe posted stunning macro photos from the museum on the überlin Blog .

I couldn't wait any longer - and another dreary drizzly day presented itself with perfect timing. Thanks to everyone for the inspiration. The music was especially composed for this video by none other than Scott Solary (YouTube channel ScottSolary)

  • wow, this is a place i need to pay a visit !

  • @zerozebra Try to go late in the day or early evening to avoid the school classes

  • nice old and new.

  • This is the only museum in the world I wouldn't go crazy in if I was locked inside it.

  • @GNYBerlin thanks ! :)

  • @azzarbprime Dear Azzarb, I long to see as much of the world as you and your partner have. You are fortunate to have traveled so much. I hope to see more of Europe as long as I'm still here. And then off to Asia and around the world. It's a dream.

    Enjoy your Sunday.

How cool that you have a personal connection to this video.

So from computer programming to working in a hospital - from DC to New Mexico... love for electronic music and rooftop garden with tomato plants. I'm learning bits and pieces.

    Warm wishes from Berlin

    Luci

  • @LTC2250 Vielen Dank!
