tet43?

We're still here.

We just made them think we'd changed...

It's a ruse I tell you! ;-)

I wonder what Bette was thinking about when she started crying. Peggy Lee? Her own life? The song itself? Better gets very emotional quite quickly sometimes. She'll be in an interview laughing and cracking jokes and suddenly crying and then crying while laughing. <3

I have loved this song since I was a youth! I own a vinyl copy of Peggy Lee's version and I love Bette's version too!

Owmaan..i know nothing about this style of music or genre or wathever, but i've seen two minutes of both and i gotta say: oldschool is so much better..this one feels fake..she can sing that's all.

I so disagree juldup11.

Midler makes it her own utterly.

Who'd dare take on Peggy Lee and her iconic version of it? Midler would and does and claims it as her own.

They're two different interpretations by two talented singers. I say "brava" to both.

I think the chorous would have to be my Funeral song. Not disrespecting my Family or their feelings, or God. Anyone who knows me would understand why I would choose it............. Peggy?.................. Bette?? Both lovely versions.
