Me playing along to Laid to rest by lamb of god. I did a little extra where I shouldn't have as I use this song to warm up...Enjoy!
(P.S. I use a Warwick corvette bass w/emg pickups, a Hiwatt tube amp with a sans amp and aphex compressor in line )

  • it adds a bit of rasp/ crunch and its much much easier for inexperienced sound guys to mix at live shows without feedback

  • So i haven't checked this video in ages - a bunch of people asked about the poster. It was from a store i saw in the back of Q magazine. I just searched for it but i guess its closed down!

  • Why'd you put EMG's in your bass? do hey sound better? my Corvette has the stock MEC's in it

  • Rock Star pose @:07 LMAOROF!!!! DUDE YOU RAWWWWK!!!!

  • Really?? Than....you cant hear Steve Harris, John Entwhisle.........???? You need to use a compressor and crank the this shit if you're gonna be a pick bassist!

  • holy shit dude...that amp is fucking scary...

  • @jaededify No, a pick is for a more defined tone I find where as using my fingers produces a more rounded off tone, but bass is only a basic version of a guitar if you play it that way, there are different techniques on a bass, the Fleas style of playing definitely isn't a basic version of a guitar whereas Lemmie's style of play kinda is

  • Great cover !!

    Awsome guitar !!!

    awsome poster !!

And the red cradle of filth t shirt !! is sa7777

  • DUDE join my band...

  • @poisonnetwork Warwick. The type is a corvette. I have their standard series corvette. Beautifull guitars. This particular one has the Bubinga (type of wood) body. There is also an ash version.

  • @jaededify Show them a song on guitar where the guitarist reaches between the 1st and 5th frets. Now point out how the first and 5th frets are spaced much further apart on a bass. Tell them for every fuckoff riff played on a guitar, a bassist has to do the same thing, but spread out alot further. And he has to press down much harder. And being bass, you need to be accurate

  • wat brand is the bass?

  • @jaededify Give them a bass instead of a guitar, then tell them to play a solo... let's see if it's the basic version of a guitar
