Oh, by all means, don't believe me. Nobody should believe any of us loonies on the internet, but nobody should be completely reliant on the modern media. Wherever there's money, there's corruption, as we've seen quite frequently over the past few years. We're fed only half of the story, forced to come to one conclusion. We're never given all the facts, and people are starting to notice.

Okay I looked it up after reading your comment. And QUICKLY realized this video has nothing to do with Holmes. The shooting happened in summer last year and this video was uploaded in 2011 with no plaid even. How are people so thickheaded? I feel bad for them as well because I love this song and I love Slurpees.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. You think there is some sort of elaborate conspiracy at work and will gladly gobble up any evidence that confirms this, no matter how circumstantial, inaccurate, ridiculous and downright inconsistent with facts it may be. This is called confirmation bias. I'm more apt to believe what the media says than what some internet conspiracy theorist says. As untrustworthy as it may be sometimes, the press is still held somewhat accountable.

Apparently the "holmies" adopted this as their theme song because James Holmes is supposed to be a huge fan of Slurpees or something. I feel bad for the people in the video, they just wanted to write a silly song and these morons had to ruin their fun.
