"My harai almost look like taio toshi so i combine them"
If your Harai Goshi looks like Tai Otoshi mdol88 then either you have no understanding of Harai Goshi or no understanding of Tai Otoshi. Neither of the two throws look at all like each other.
-
Haraigoshi and Taiotoshi are impossible to mix together. One is a sweeping hip throw where you go to one leg. The other is a hand throw where you need to drop your base and stay heavy on two feet. It's not possible to combine those two principles.

@Axatapa so... your trying to correct sensei Inoue? HAHAHAHA

This is not "UCHI MATA" technic, but "HANE GOSHI" technic, my special when I was judoka

I've been a student of judo for nearly 40 years. I have been fortunate to call Dr Sachio Ashida (9th dan/Kodokan) my sensei. In my humble opinion this is Uchimata or at the very least a variation of it. I've worked the technique this way myself when working with members of the US Olympic team. Not really that uncommon. Like many throws in the Nagewaza people tailor techniques to what works best for them...they make the throw their own.

Hello nice video, can someone please let me know what video is this?, I mean the source DVD for this clip, thanks a lot

Ashi guruma, perhaps?

@yohei6370 NO. First off it's Hane, not Hani. Hane Goshi is a springing hip throw. There is no "bounce" in Kosei Inoue's Oikomi or Tobikomi Uchimata. It may "look" like Hane because of the rising leg hitting the outside leg, but what makes Hane Goshi has nothing at all to do with leg placement. Leg placement in Hane couldn't matter less. It's about bouncing them in the air with your hips. Inoue never does/did Hane Goshi. This is Uchimata through and through.
-
@AJDevilx there's no mention of reap or sweep in the english translation of uchi mata! As long as the leg is raised between the legs! (either leg) and it is in the inner thigh area then it will be classed as Uchi Mata!

This is Hani Goshi.... theres low mid and high Hani goshi
-
@monchthekid If you could see it slow-mo, especially on his DVD, his leg is going straight backwards, simply providing a higher fulcrum for the opponent to fall over. He isn't really pushing any part of the leg with his leg. He's allowing the hips to do that uprooting. It does look very similar to Harai, because he's using his leg only as a follow through, but his Harai looks pretty different than his Uchimata. You're definitely not wrong though. It's still Uchimata though.

@WhtMike2006 Dude it really kinda looks like Harai. My Uchi Mata is really between the legs. His is like pushing the leg with his calf.
Arf, c'est vrai qu'en regardant de plus prêt ça ressemble à Hane-Goshi !!
