@franzia1499 Even if they put in in neutral, the car's computers would not respond. They were going haywire, and braking does nothing either. And the accelerator was sticking, so how could they have stopped? Learn to research before you type a comment.

Put the car in neutral, hit the brake, and turn off the engine you fucking moron. Anyone who doesn't know this should not be allowed to drive. Panicky, inexperienced drivers are worse than drivers on a cell phone, drivers who are sleepy, and yes, even drivers who are drunk. I'd rather blow the engine than plow into a building full of people. This woman should be arrested.

I WAS ALMOST KILLED IN MY TOYOTA '06 4 RUNNER ON NUMEROUS OCCASIONS WITH MY TWO YEAR OLD IN THE BACK! NEVER EVER EVER WILL I BUY ANOTHER TOYOTA!! THIS WAS BEFORE ALL THIS CRAP WAS IN THE MEDIA...THEY TOLD ME IT WAS MY FLOOR MATS!! TO BAD MY ATTORNEYS PROVED OTHERWISE. I HAVE BEEN CONTACTED FROM AROUND THE GLOBE FROM LAWYERS THAT HAVE CASES AGAINST TOYOTA. THIS IS A REAL PROBLEM....WAIT UNTIL THESE CARS GET HIGER MILES AND ARE KILLING NOT ONLY THE PEOPLE DRIVING THEM BUT ALSO THE INNOCENT!
