@goombabear Frankfurt has got one of the biggest Airports on earth. On the other hand is near Frankfurt the european Headquater of the US Air Force and there are a lot of passengers who are on buisness trips between US and Germany. Also Vacation travelers ... In Frankfurt most of the flights go to german and american cities, mostly Washington, New York JFK/Newark and Chicago ...

@simvisiado They handle even larger...An A340 is used on a route to Germany. 4 engines...it's a beauty.

It used basically the whole runway, or maybe it was just the angle where the camera was

No, that was not the camera angle. That must have been one heavy airplane because he did use almost every foot of that runway. I remember getting a little concerned as it got closer to the end of the runway . . .
