is it me or is the acoustics in that room make it sound like the crowd is also singing the tag?

I know people sang the "ram-para-param" part but somehow people come along with the song...

Yeah, they encourage the crowd to sing the "All You Need is Love" part of the song too :) You can always hear the crowd at the end because R.M. slow it down for the tag and people slowly fade out as they realize what's happening.
