Hey Mark, just discovered this gem - I was anticipating you to talk about the look of the club. I feel as if many lower handicap players (who are not scratch golfers obviously) buy into the blades because they look much "sharper" and more "focused" at address than the shovel like cavity irons. Your thoughts?

@mespil Yes...if you have forged clubs, its best to check the loft and lie once every year or so.....

r11 irons are the shit.

@uptopar84 Go AP2, my club pro who is also coaching me is a scratch and he said he wouldn't touch the MB. He is playing the AP2 and loves them, I know this is not my personal experience and you were asking the maker of the video but heck I think only maybe 2 or 3 of the TM pros are using them things and they are the best in the world. I went with the Razr X forged and I am an 8.1 and I'm loving them, plenty of workability and some forgiveness. Don't handicap yourself.

noone should use blades, except maybe pga tour and european tour players. Anyone else is just cheating themselves.

I really like this video Mark. I have a set of Taylormade Tour Preferred MB's from 2011 and a set of AP2 710's. I am trying to decide which set to go with. I am about a 5 HC and shoot 70's pretty regularly but have some mishits that really urk me with the MB's. I bought the AP2's to compare. Thoughts?

@scubbiepipp well i guess everyone is different, i've only been playing for about a year now and i shoot around 85 so i guess im a 13 handicap. But i have alot of trouble using my 4-6 but really good with 7-wedges. also i can put decent. For me its all about putting it down the fairway because i hit the ball pretty long * 285 average * if i can get it down the fairway i can use my high irons :)

Before game improvement clubs , players used to practice there swing,1k+ balls a day.Now its all about " bad workmen blames his tools " market driven "Must haves"I played cast blades for years.Turned me off golf for along while.2 Years ago I returned to the game after a knee reconstruction( mainly for the excercise).Technology is amazing now.Just taken delivery of AP2,712s,Driver, Fairway and 2 VokeySM4 s..Demoed a set, got fitted,Forged is the way for me.Mark the vids rock.
Question
I am thinking of buying forged clubs, I remember reading somewhere that due to their softnes, if you practice on range mats often they will bend slightly, is this true?
