The difference is that without the pendant, the gentleman in the suit (S) pulls down and away from the volunteer's (V's) body; whereas with the pendant, S pushes down and toward the V's body. S changes the position of the V's center of mass with respect to his balance point.

I'm quite sensitive to energies that other people have a hard time feeling. I've felt the physical and physiological changes that certain crystals can create in our bodies... In first "one leg" test without pendant he presses hand down bringing the man out of balance, "with pendant" pressure is slightly towards the body - he basically supports the guy so he cannot fall. Simple party trick. I don't know how they did other "tests", but after seein first demonstration i will sooner believe in the flying spaghetti monster than that.
