Lisa and the Devil is Mario Bava´s masterpiece. A surreal and nightmarish haunted house classic remiscent of the works of David Lynch and Dario Argento. Unfortunately, the film was a box-office flop, and the producers decide to recut the film with newly shot footage ripped-off from The Exorcist. They totally butchered a masterpiece, taking off brilliant scenes and replacing them with sleazy and tasteless possession scenes, and thus, "House of Exorcism" was born
