The album was a success and the band toured throughout 2002. Tom DeLonge has stated that Box Car Racer "has run it’s course" and is now defunct; DeLonge’s current band Angels & Airwaves has been proclaimed a continuation of Box Car Racer.

lyically tom is at his best in boxcar and blinks last album, then in ava his lyrics got a little to deep they became all hallmarky like they belonged in greeting cards. or am i the only one who thinks that? lol
