차이코프스키-피아노협주곡1번(Piano Concerto No. 1) 졸업연주(Senior Solo)

My senior solo with my school's orchestra~! :D (December 14, 2010)

I played the Piano Concerto No. 1 in B-flat Minor, Op. 23 written by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky. It's super hard and for a while I was really worried I wouldn't be able to learn it in time for the December concert. :(

But I did it! ^^ And it turned out alright (I guess). Yes, I messed up a lot. Yes, it's super slow compared to the original. Yes, there are a million things I wish I could've done better or differently. Yes, I wish I was a perfect human being. But we can't all have what we want, now, can we? Lol. :)

For those wondering why it's so short compared to the original: I cut out a LOT of the piece to fit it within 8 minutes. That was my teacher's time limit. So I cut out...maybe 500 measures? XD And come on, who wants to memorize 40 pages of music anyways? :P

네, 맞습니다~ 그런데 우리 선생님이 8분 안에 쳐야한다고 말씀하셨으니 이렇게 짧게 됬습니다~ 이해 해주십시오~ ㅋㅋㅋ ^^

By the way, I'm a graduate of juliard school and was trained on piano...this was my recital piece with the New York Phillharmonic....You have a great orchestra there....BRAVO!

My pleasure. People should be applauded for what they accomplish.
