  • With guys like this people can be informed about the process. It's not a slam dunk situation. When some are making money from leases and possible employment, but it ruins the quality of life for others, it should be carefully investigated. Talk to people who make their livelihood from tourism, like the hundreds of wineries here in the Finger Lakes.........

  • @meader2 Rural NY people haven't died of poverty yet in the 200 some years they've been there. We can wait until infrastructure and technology is in place to be sure this doesn't ruin a beautiful 'poor' quality of life. Eat deer, grow vegetables, pick apples, sell hay, burn wood. You'll live. You'll continue to have okay roads, clean air, clean water, peace and quiet. You don't know what you've got 'til it's gone. Think about it.

  • They are decontaminating hydrofracking equipment for naturally occuring radioactive material in N Texas Radioactive Waste Surfaces at Texas Gas Sites (Dallas Morning News)

  • With guys like this ther would be no energy for anyone.

In the Barnett theyt have drilled 10,000 wells, without incident.

Let rural NY people die of poverty? Or let them drill! Meader2
