@AulicExclusiva that fast vibrato is a sign that the voice is well placed, it appears natually, it's not that the singer is producing it artificially, so who said that this type of vibrato is not appropiate for Handel or Mozart? A voice without vibrato would be horrible singing anything at all....

The first time that I hear this lady. Among the greatest in my opinion...
Thanks for sharing, Addi,

Thank you for posting. I had never hjeard her before. Now she goes on my list along with (in order) Ponselle, Muzio, Price, and ... Quartararo

Brilliant singing, representative of the Art of Bel Canto, no longer heard on the operatic stage.

What a glorious voice this was!

One of the most beautiful performances I,ve ever heard. Thanks a lot for the video

in any time, music was just something that happen: handel become composer because he had something musical to say: something happenig in music. it is the same when a musician -a singer- make music. I go very often to concerts or listen too music on disc with nothing hapening. It is correct in style, but it is just nothing in music because no original personalilty come from. With this disc you have something happening. nothing to say more: the style of pure musicians is just that.

Please be objective and keep clean the video of petty dispute

@AulicExclusiva It's here but not a personal opinion, but about style questions that nobody knows.
Please comment the video and do not argue with each other.
@AulicExclusiva
Then keep your opinion for you.
Unless you are informed by Handel himself.

What a glorious voice and singer. I had forgotten how splendid this soprano was.
Thank you for a truly joyous experience. A great shame that her discocgraphy is so small and her career so short.
