seriously, Indian media.. instead of praising aishwarya for representing Indian cinema in an international platform, they are criticizing her for clothes.

@kapoorbf80 she also wore a sari for the world premiere of Raavan in London so it's not like she doesn't wear saris anymore. She wears it when and if she can,but you can't always wear one. Change is good sometimes.

@kapoorbf80 Everyone at the festival is dressed & styled by special ppl hired. And Aish is representing lo'real now too so she has to dress appropriately for that.

@kapoorbf80 I agree. Indian media is jealous of Aishwarya Rai & has a personal agenda against her. only they criticize her choice of dresses. The international media doesn't. They didn't like it when Ash wore that sari the first time she was at Cannes for Devdas & now that she doesn't wear a sari they have a problem? Indian media is ridiculous & the worst in the world & before making comments they should realize it's not upto Aish what to wear & how to do hair & make up.

lol..a news reporter telling Ash what to wear on the red-carpet..!!
Ash was representing the brand L'Oréal Paris and not India..
That's why she was dressed in those gowns..
And she looked like a million bucks in them...beating the likes of Angelina Jolie and Eva Longoria!!
But the journalist focusses on the fact that Ash did not wear a sari..!!
Ash has always worn the sari in Cannes when not for L'Oréal.(When she was in the jury and also for "Devdas" premiere)..
Indian Media sucks!!

What people don't know and in this case "Indian Media" is that her looks at Cannes are pre-planned by Loreal to have her looking the very best to represent Loreal since Ash is the International Brand Ambassador of Loreal. Its not her choice to wear a sari or to not wear a sari. Plus she IS INDIAN! She's represented India/Indian woman on the Biggest Platforms in the world, no other actress/actor has ever done that EVER!
Love you Aishwarya, More power to you WOMAN!
