"Berea College Appalachian Museum: Preservation of History Becomes the Past" is a 10-minute documentary featuring footage of the museum and interviews with various Berea College figures, museum employees, and student body about the closing. The video is a companion piece for a research paper on the Appalachian Museum that I wrote for an Appalachian Studies course I took at Berea in Spring 1999.
If you are still active on youtube I would love to collaborate with you. I am doing a research project on the App. Museum and am having trouble finding information.

This really brought back some memories for me. I thought the closing of the museum was SUCH a loss. As a native Appalachian, I was very saddened to see it go. It was such a great resource. Too bad. Thanks for this video; it was great. I think the college has taken a lot of negative directions in the last few years. :-(
